1:1 Interview Preparation and Demo with Aditya (3 sessions)
Over the past 10 years, I've been on both sides of the interview desk. I have worked with companies like Simility (Paypal), ZL Technologies, and PhenomPeople. I have taught thousands of students in University courses, Bootcamps, and have spoken in Meetups. I wrote a book Hands-on Machine Learning with Python published by Apress (Springer) and has been mentioned by the readers as a practical and crisp book on the subject. I'm currently teaching a Masters course on Data Science and Society at a university in the Netherlands.
My interview experiences have shown me that right from the first "Hello", you can govern the direction of the interview. Afterall it is not an exam, but a meeting between two individuals to decide if they are fit to work with each other. With this mindset, you will go confidently to any interview and ensure that you the interviewers saw the best version of you.
Session 1:
We will begin an elaborate discussion about your current level and go through your resume or portfolio. At the end of the first one-hour session, you will commit to Action Steps that may include reading or learning from text (materials will be provided) or making changes to your current projects.
Session 2:
In this session, you will come prepared after completing the assigned tasks. We will discuss some interview questions and prepare very high-quality answers that make your expertise pop out. By the end of this session, we will come up with more action steps that might be about your expertise, portfolio, resume, or the answers.
Session 3:
The final session will begin with a demo interview, followed by a detailed analysis of your answers and how they could be tweaked better. The purpose of this session is to ensure that you fill your knowledge gaps, and make sure that the best parts about your experience shine forward.
The three sessions should be held within two to six weeks. We will set the dates for the latter two sessions during the first discussion. If you are not willing to commit to three sessions yet, please also check the One-Session offering.
Assessment of your current skills, demo interview, tips on preparing better, finding skill-gaps, resume suggestions.
